Enhancing Your Business with Point of Sale and Display Printing Solutions

The moment of decision happens in the aisle, at the till and on the stand, and point-of-sale print is what speaks there. A standee stops people in a way a poster never will, a spinning wheel draws a queue, a selfie frame sends your logo home on every guest's phone, and a pull-up banner turns any corner into a branded backdrop. This guide walks through the displays we build, what each does best, and the materials and sizes behind them.
Choose the display by the job it does at the moment of decision. Standees and selfie frames for attention and photographs; spinning wheels, entry boxes and giant cheques for interaction and prizes; hangers, posters and foam boards for information; X-banners, pull-ups and pop-ups for a portable branded backdrop. All are printed in full colour at our Cape Town factory, most contour-cut to shape, and the portable ones pack into their own bags.

Displays that stop people

- Life-size cutouts: full-size human cutouts, mascots and characters up to 1.2 × 2.4 m, contour-cut with a support strut
- Promotional standees: giant products, vehicles and freestanding signs; a second strut on wider pieces
- Materials: Correx for economy and outdoor use, ABS for a solid premium finish, foam board for smooth indoor displays
- Photography: a high-resolution, full-length photo taken straight on, feet included, against a plain background

- Sizes: A2 for one person, A1 for two (the most popular), A0 for a group at an entrance or photo wall
- Materials: 5 mm Correx for outdoor events and repeated use; 5 mm foam board for a smooth premium finish indoors
- Design: a large window, logo and event name along the top, hashtag and handles along the bottom where hands will not cover them
- Cost: one of the cheapest additions to an event, because your guests do the marketing
Displays that get people involved

- Desktop wheels: a laminated printed prize face on a light unit for till counters and compact stands
- Floor-standing wheels: a full-colour branding face on a sturdy freestanding base for trade show booths
- Built for crowds: a heavy-duty base and a smooth spinning mechanism that handles interaction all day
- Artwork: our in-house team lays out the prize sectors in your colours, or we supply a template for yours

- Giant cheques: rigid board in full colour with logos, signature lines and event details; once-off, or reusable with a dry-erase laminate
- Entry form boxes: branded on every side, a neat slot for entries, an optional lock; printed board for a campaign or durable materials for ongoing use
- Design: make the amount and the recipient the largest elements on a cheque; keep the prize, closing date and terms on the box
- Templates: ask for the box template first, and tell us the size of your entry forms
An entry form box at the till, the entrance or the stand builds your database while the promotion runs; a giant cheque gives the handover a stage and puts your logo in every press and social photo.
Displays that inform

- Hotel door hangers: do not disturb, housekeeping, laundry and room service messages, double-sided
- Retail rack hangers: size markers, range names and promotion call-outs on clothing rails
- Materials: 450 gsm card with gloss or matt lamination, or 1.5 mm ABS plastic for daily handling
- Fit: tell us the diameter of the handle, knob or rail so the hole or hook slides on without tearing
For flat information, posters from A5 to A0 on 170 to 250 gsm coated paper cover counters, windows and notice boards, in eco-solvent for indoors or UV ink for sunlit glass. Where the panel must feel premium or stand up on a counter, foam boards in 3 or 5 mm rigid PVC foam give a smooth, glare-free matte face for menu boards, exhibition panels and hanging graphics, and menus on 350 gsm card or 1 mm board carry a waterproof laminate.
Portable banners and backdrops

- Pull-up banner: an 840 × 2,000 mm PVC print in a classic aluminium roller base, with a bungee support pole and a carry bag; retracts into the base in seconds
- X-banner: a UV-printed, curl-resistant skin hooked by corner eyelets onto a tripod tension frame, in three sizes from a narrow corridor banner to a wide backdrop, with a bag
- Pop-up banner: a self-springing frame in a double-sided, weather-resistant fabric body, in two sizes, with ground pegs and a circular carry bag, for sidelines and outdoor boundaries
- Fabric alternatives: sock banners, tension frames and banner walls in our dye-sublimation guide
The pull-up banner is the everyday indoor workhorse. The X-banner saves floor space and hides its frame entirely behind the graphic. The pop-up banner bounces open outdoors and folds flat into a bag. For full fabric backdrops, banner walls and tension frames, read our dye-sublimation guide.
Custom point of sale builds
When a standard display will not do, our custom point of sale builds turn dead floor space into a sales driver: standing shelves in eco-friendly Xanita honeycomb board, custom-printed promotional stands, counter units and flat-pack displays for national rollouts, and illuminated kiosks. They are engineered from corrugated board, Xanita, acrylic, wood or metal, printed direct to the substrate and cut for a precise fit, on our IECHO BK digital flatbed cutter for Xanita and corrugated board and on the CNC router for wood and acrylic, and designed for quick assembly on the floor.
How we make displays in Cape Town
Tell us where the display will stand, how long it must last and how many you need, and send your artwork or photograph, or let our design studio lay it out. Your quote states the timeline. Agencies and print brokers can produce the range through our Reseller Partner Programme.
Frequently asked questions
Which material should a standee be?
Correx for an economical campaign standee that can go outdoors, ABS for a solid premium finish that lasts, and foam board for a smooth indoor display. Life-size cutouts go up to 1.2 × 2.4 m with a support strut.
What size selfie frame do I need?
A2 for one person, A1 for two (the most popular), and A0 for groups at entrances and photo walls, which needs two people to hold.
Can a spinning wheel be reused for another campaign?
The wheel is built for repeated public use; the printed prize face carries your campaign, and our team can lay out a new face in your colours or supply a template.
Card or plastic for hangers?
Laminated 450 gsm card for campaigns and large quantities; 1.5 mm ABS for hotel rooms and store fittings where a hanger is handled every day.
Is a pull-up banner fabric?
Our standard pull-up banner is a PVC print in a roller base. For a fabric finish, choose a sock banner or a tension frame from our dye-sublimation range.
Can a pop-up banner stand outdoors?
Yes. It has a self-springing frame in a weather-resistant, double-sided fabric body and comes with ground pegs and a circular carry bag.
Can you build something that is not a standard product?
Yes. Custom point of sale builds cover standing shelves, counter units, flat-pack displays and kiosks in corrugated, Xanita, acrylic, wood or metal, printed and cut to your design: board on the IECHO BK digital flatbed cutter, wood and acrylic on the CNC router.
Ready to brand the point of sale?
Tell us where the display will stand, what it must do and how many you need, and send your artwork or a photograph. We will recommend the display, print it and cut it in our Cape Town factory.
